Explore Chateau Hermitage De Combas
Nestled in the heart of the Languedoc-Roussillon vineyards, just minutes from Pézenas, Béziers, and the sea, Château Hermitage de Combas is a truly magical setting. What started as a medieval fortress in the 13th century has evolved into an enchanting retreat—full of history, charm, and modern comforts that the two of us absolutely adore. (and we hope that you will too!)

Why We Fell in Love With It
The Château blends the romance of centuries past with the comforts and conveniences of today. We love the idea of friends and family wandering through vine-framed gardens, gathering in sunlight-filled spaces, lounging by the pool, or enjoying pétanque matches beside ancient oaks.
Time Capsule Meets Comfort
The château’s medieval walls, vine-covered turrets, and centuries-old park create an atmospheric backdrop, while the interiors — blending antique, classic, and contemporary decor — offer real comfort.
Breathtaking Gardens
Wander through beautifully manicured grounds perfect for memorable celebrations.
Stunning Buildings
The Orangerie — a converted 19th-century wine cellar — fills with light through grand windows overlooking the gardens. It’s where we’ll celebrate, and its mix of stone walls, exposed beams, and modern sound, lighting, and video tech makes it unforgettable.
Prime Location
Situated in the heart of Occitanie, offering easy access for all guests.

It’s exactly the kind of place we dreamed would hold our wedding—a place that feels like home, history, and holiday all rolled into one unforgettable experience. We can’t wait to share it with you!
Staying at Château Hermitage de Combas
We can’t wait to celebrate our wedding with you in the gorgeous surroundings of Château Hermitage de Combas — a dreamy slice of French countryside charm! If you’re staying with us on-site, here’s what you need to know so you can settle in and feel right at home.
Not staying at the Chateau? You can find out more about alternative accommodations in our Travel & Stay section.
A Little Different (In the Best Way)
This isn’t a hotel — it’s so much better! The château offers a collection of apartments and gîtes (cozy holiday cottages) full of character, space, and rustic elegance. You’ll have more privacy than a typical hotel room, plus comfy living areas and, in some cases, your own terrace for a morning croissant in the sun.
Self-Catering Freedom
Each apartment or gîte comes with a fully equipped kitchen — complete with a dishwasher, microwave, oven/stovetop, fridge, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, and all the kitchen bits and bobs you need.
We’ve got you covered for:
- Friday Dinner
- Saturday (all day feasting!)
- Sunday Brunch
For the rest, you’re the chef! Stock up on local goodies (hello, French cheese and fresh baguettes) and enjoy leisurely breakfasts or midnight snacks as you please.
We hope this helps you plan your stay — and we truly can’t wait to share this amazing place and celebrate together! If you have any questions or need a local tip, just let us know.

Housekeeping (or Not!)
A quick heads up — this is not a hotel, so:
- No daily room cleaning (but fresh linens and towels are provided)
- No room service (we promise you won’t miss it)
- Breakfast isn’t included but can be arranged for about €10 per person if you’d rather sleep in than fry eggs
- Check-in: 2–5 PM (let them know if you’ll arrive later)
- Check-out: By 10 AM — sorry, we’d keep you forever if we could!
- Some areas of the château are private, as the owner lives on-site (castle goals, right?)

What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is usually between 2 PM and 5 PM. If you’ll arrive later, just let the château know in advance — they have a late arrival procedure. Check-out is by 10 AM on your departure day.
